My blog needs something new on it....

so here are some pics. I don't really have anything to say at the current moment. We have nothing exciting going on. Oh....the boring life we lead....

I guess I could explain some of these...the last three are of my lovely son after waking up from a nap. He decided not to call his mom and tell her he was awake. Instead he decided he would play with things that mom doesn't let him play with, but for some reason keeps them all within his reach. This is baby powder and yes it was EVERYWHERE!!! When I walked in his room (after wondering why my child was taking a 4 and 1/2 hour nap)I could see nothing except powder flying through the air. When the powder cleared I finally found my son hiding under his covers with the evidence still in his hand. He preceded to smile which made me laugh because his face was whiter than his teeth. Bless his heart! The pic of him with the other little boy is his cousin...Maddox...aka Bobo. He stayed with Bobo one of the nights we were in Vegas. When my sister-in-law put them down for bed she turned a movie on and tucked them in. When she went back to check on them they were jumping on the bed having a grand ole time.

We're back!

We got back Thursday, but today is the first day I have had a minute. It is so hard to get back into the swing of things after vacation for some reason? ha. We went to a WEC fight Wednesday night. It is a lower division of UFC fighting. We happened to obsessed with it so it was so much fun. It was at the Hard Rock Hotel. The first UFC fighter we saw was Tito Ortiz which happens to be my fav. Then it was like they all started coming out of the wood work. It was great! We didn't see any other celebs other than them. We both hated to come home, but we were missing Huddy terribly. Hudson was so excited to see us and receive all of his presents we got him at the M&M store. I can't wait for our next trip back out there. It is probably one of my fav vacation spots. Kev wants to move out there...ha! We'd be broke! Not happening.

Vegas Baby...

Kevin and I got to Las Vegas yesterday for our 3rd anniversary. We got here to early to check into our room so Kev found something great and wonderful for us to do...he sent us on a 5 hour (yes 5, not 2-3 hours like they claim) tour to a new hotel they are building out here. They try to sell you timeshares and make this HUGE fuss about how it is so worth the money and your grandchildren's grandchildren will be able to enjoy this. Well I did the math and it is a complete pile of crap. If you own a timeshare you are stupid. Kevin and I go on many trips a year and we don't spend as much money as you would on those stupid timeshares that you only get for 1 week out of the year. Anyway, we finally got out of there and started to enjoy the rest of our trip. He took me to my favorite Mexican resturant, we went to the M&M store and found all kinds of useless stuff that we will be bringing home to the little man (because he LOVES M&Ms), and today we found my all time favorite slot machine, CHEESEBURGER! Well at least that is what I call it. I told him if he can't find me that is where I'll be. Posted up like those little old ladies you see everywhere here. This morning I layed out by the pool until it got too hot to handle...today's high ws 108 degrees. This afternoon I went to the spa and got a facial. It was so relaxing. Towards the end of the week I will be on a hunt for celebrities because the MTV Video Music Awards are here Sunday. Wish me luck!

Check Out My New Tatoo...

Yesterday I decided to put a tatoo on Hudson's leg. It is of Donkey from none other than SHREK!!! I put it on his leg and he immediately told me it hurt, that he didn't like it, and that he wanted it off. I tried to tell him how cool he was, that Gracie (his girlfriend) would love it, and that no other kid his age had a tatoo, etc...etc..etc. He wasn't having it. He whined about for about 30 minutes until Kevin came home. I had sent him a pic of it on his phone so he knew it was there. He came in making a huge deal about how cool it was and all of the sudden the tatoo wasn't so bad anymore. So Hudson has "proudly" showed it off to everyone he has seen. What I want to know is why I am not as cool as dad?

Red and Black...

College football season starts in 10 DAYS!!! I couldn't be more excited! I absolutely love college football...especially the Georgia Bulldogs. I keep up with what's going on with all the SEC teams, but my blood bleeds RED! I know you are thinking ok that is dumb, but my dad is a huge Tarheels fan and has always said, "his blood bleeds blue." Whatever...I am super excited and you can bet I'll be flying my UGA flag proud, planning football parties for all the big games, and screaming and jumping up and down in the living room by myself come next Saturday(yes, my husband is probably the only man alive who could care less about any sport...except wakeboarding). GO DAWGS!!!

Every Wednesday Night...

We like to go and play trivia. Sometimes we do really well and sometimes we are terrible. We haven't ever won, but we have a lot of fun playing. I guess that is all that matters...right? Hudson normally stays with Kevin's parents, but last week he got to go with us. He was such a big helper! Since he already wanted to run all over the place I gave him the "big boy" task of taking our answers to the trivia guy. It kept him occupied for the most part...but this week, he will be going to his Mamies house. My sister, Lindsay, said she is a great person to have on our team so she will be joining us tonight.

Bridal Shower...

Today I went to a bridal shower for Kim Bagwell. I haven't seen her since she came to a shower I had when I was getting married. (Which will be 3 years on the 28th of this month.) She is doing great, looked great, and is extremely excited to be getting married September 8, 2007. They are getting married on the beach in Pensacola, FL.

So far for August...

This is probably our busiest month yet this year...birthday parties, baby showers, wedding showers, etc. Kevin and I are going to Las Vegas the beginning of September for our anniversary. It will be a much needed vacation once this month is over. Hudson got a hair cut last week and looks like such a little man. He loves to show it off anytime anyone says anything about it. He started reading books and coloring books to us before he goes to bed. He says the same words (that don't make sense to us) over, over, and then says "yaaaa" and claps when he is done. The boy in him has really come to surface and it only makes me wish there was a little more estrogen running around this house. I am in the process of trying to finish decorating my living room. I have thrown around ideas for 9 months now and finally have figured out what I want to do. There will be lots of red! When it's finished I'll post some pics. Did I mention I have baby fever again? As for Kevin... well lets see he bought a new 4 door jeep. He has been working hard in this 100 degree heat to finish up the house he is building. He has been busy buying and returning lap tops because they aren't good enough (like we need anymore... I don't think I'll ever understand the obsession with men and electronics). So that is the past couple of weeks in a nutshell.

Take Me Out to "dat" Baseball Game...

Kevin and I took Hudson to the Braves game this past weekend. I hyped him up about it all day in order to insure a semi-successful outting. While walking through the parking lot Huddy would hear noises coming from the stadium and say "dat baseball". I would tell him yes and he would do it again, and again, and again. I think he was excited to see "dat baseball". Once in our seats he had a great time, he hit the man in front of us with his "fast car", we took numerous trips to the bathroom to "potty"...most uneventful (he does that to me all day, but I fall for it anyway just on the outside chance that he really isn't kidding), he hit the man in front of us with his "jammies" (for those who don't know they are his PJs that he has turned into like a teddy bear or a blankie...they go everywhere with us! yaaaa!)he would yell "get dat ball", he would do the wave with one hand because the other was too busy in the cracker jack bag, he wouldn't allow Kevin or I to clap... for what reason I don't know, he danced to the music, he kicked the guy in front of us in the head getting out of my lap, he intently watched the left fielder, and during the 7th inning decided that the fun was "done". Despite all the mishaps the poor man in front of us never got mad. He will probably move seats if a child ever sits behind him again...bless his heart. All in all he had fun at "dat baseball game", Kevin and I had fun, and we had some good laughs at how funny our little man is. We love "dat" boy!

Bare with me...

I am still trying to figure this whole thing out. It's only been a few days and I keep thinking I've got the hang of it when something else goes wrong. Like I said bare with me I'll get it soon. I promise I'm not completely computer dumb. Electronics may not be MY thing but I can sort of navigate my way around here. I'll just have to keep getting my brother-in-law over here so he can help and make fun of the way I do things.
